Ingredients

  • 3 chocolate chip cookies, crushed

  • 8-10 white chocolate chips

  • 1 cup of chocolate pudding

  • 1/4 cup of unsweetened shredded coconut flakes

  • green food coloring

Directions

  1. Add one handful of crushed chocolate chip cookies to the bottom of each of two small glass jars or bowls.

  2. Drop a few white chocolate chips into the cookies to represent the fossils from the rocky layer.

  3. Scoop 4 spoonfuls of chocolate pudding into each jar or bowl, on top of the crushed cookies.

  4. Sprinkle some crushed cookies on top of the chocolate pudding to finalize the muddy rocky layer.

  5. Drop another few white chocolate chips into the cookies to represent the fossils from the muddy rocky layer.

  6. Scoop 2 more spoonfuls of chocolate pudding into each jar or bowl.

  7. Add the last few white chocolate chips into the pudding to represent the fossils from the thinner muddy grassy layer.

  8. Place the coconut flakes and a few drops of food coloring into a reusable plastic bag and shake well to turn the coconut flakes green.

  9. Sprinkle the green coconut flakes into each jar or bowl.

  10. "Dig" in!
